This is a very pretty Japanese akita girl called Poppy, I painted her portrait in watercolor and then I made an outline drawing from it. Poppy was photographed with her favourite teddy bear for her pet portrait, the image of her with Mr, Ted really brought out her akita sweetness, then I added the text to the picture because all akita people love their akita bears. Poppy was a joy to paint and I'm sure she'll make a lovely gift for someone who loves akita's, or as a treat for yourself. An akita mug to cherish.
