White Cliffs of Dover, England Souvenir Mug
Dover, England, souvenir mug. Dover has long been a famous site along the southeastern English coast, and with the 1994 completion of the "Chunnel" - the tunnel under the channel between England and France- it became even more so. Its location is thenarrowest part of the channel between the two countries. It is chalk which makes the famous white cliffs of Dover so white. The water, albeit a beautiful color, was very cold - or so it seemed to me. I did see three people in the water on this summer day.
