Jerez de la Frontera, to give this city its full name, is the largest in the Province of Cadiz, Andalucia. Noted today as a center for horse breeding and wine making, Jerez has, during its long history, been ruled by Romans, Vandals, Visigoths, Arabs and Almohads.
