Edward Lear Bird Patagonian Parakeet-Macaw Mug
Born in1812 Edward Lear was an English Artist, illustrator, writer, and poet. In 1832 he published a book containing forty-two lithographic prints of parrots, Illustrations of the Family of Psittacidae or Parrots. After more than a hundred years these images are still in excellent condition as is evident in all forty-two images in the collection. It has been a pleasure to research and offer these images on everyday household items—what better way to share and enjoy these timeless images that have been so well preserved over the years.
