Brown Pelican Takes Time Out Acrylic Bird Painting Coffee Mug
A solitary brown pelican temporarily rests on a piling, only to quickly resume hard-core diving for its food source, small fish. Pelicans can also be social birds, gathering together where fishermen are cleaning their catch, in hopes of someone throwing them a bite. Sometimes a line of pelicans trails out above beach condos in a long line, playing follow the leader, other times seen floating in large groups farther out from shore.
