1920s Yakima Chief Evaporated Apples label Coffee Mug
I’m still going through storage locker no. 1, from the artist’s estate* so much of my images come from, and just found an envelope full of old apple crate labels. *She had THOUSANDS of examples of paper ephemera and art. So much so that it’s taken me two 10' x 10' storage lockers to hold it all. Back to the label: it’s VERY neat, bearing the image of a very dignified Indian chief, and looks super marvelous all kinds of EVERYTHING, including mugs.
